The story covered our move into a 2,800-square-foot space in Fishermen’s Village, about four times the size of our original spa, and explained how personal consultations shape each client’s facials and home routine, taking into account things like travel schedules, stress and lifestyle.

How a personalized facial works at ästhetik
Each facial is planned around the person in the chair. Your first visit starts with a consultation about what is working for your skin, what isn’t, and what you may be able to stop using. From there, your esthetician recommends a plan. As Gulfshore Life reported, that is often a simple routine of about three products, or a few changes to what you already use at home.
When your skin and goals call for it, the plan can include advanced treatments in the spa, such as hydrodermabrasion, microcurrent or LED light therapy.

Choosing your facial
- Express Facial (30 minutes): deeply cleanses, gently exfoliates and hydrates. It can be customized for all skin types, including sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin.
- The ästhetik experience™ Signature Facial (60 minutes): a deep double cleanse using our ultrasonic cleansing technique, followed by exfoliation, a mask, facial massage and finishing care for the skin, eyes and lips.

The team behind your facial
ästhetik is led by co-owners Jennifer Pfropper, Megan Dubbaneh and Alexis Pfropper. Alexis, a licensed esthetician, developed the spa’s signature facial methods and oversees its treatment protocols and education standards.
Your facial is performed by one of our licensed estheticians, who tailor each treatment to your skin and goals and explain how to care for your skin at home.
A waterfront spa in Fishermen’s Village
Our spa is inside Fishermen’s Village, Punta Gorda’s waterfront shopping and dining destination. Alexis told Gulfshore Life that the new space lets ästhetik be a destination, not just an appointment. Express facials, lash lifts and tints, and brow services take place in a harbor-facing area, while longer facials and massages happen in private treatment rooms.
