ästhetik spa & skincare is a waterfront day spa and esthetician-created skincare brand located in Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda, Florida. We bring professional facials, massage therapy, brow and lash services, facial waxing, advanced skincare treatments, and personalized skincare guidance together under one philosophy: thoughtful care should be customized to the person receiving it.
Created from an esthetician’s search for better skincare
ästhetik began in 2020 when licensed esthetician and permanent-makeup artist Alexis Pfropper set out to create a treatment environment—and eventually a skincare collection—that reflected the standards she wanted for her own sensitive skin and for her clients.
After years of working with reactive and sensitized skin, Alexis wanted products that were easier to understand, thoughtfully formulated, and compatible with a barrier-conscious approach to professional skincare. That search became ästhetik skincare, an esthetician-formulated collection designed to support healthy, resilient skin at home.
What began as a single treatment room grew into a larger spa and retail experience, ultimately moving to Fishermen’s Village on the Punta Gorda waterfront.
Our product philosophy centers on purposeful formulation rather than trend-driven routines.
The ästhetik skincare collection includes plant-based formulas, mineral sun protection, cleansers, moisturizers, serums and targeted treatments created to complement professional skincare.
The brand is cruelty-free and has earned recognition from independent beauty and business organizations for its products and business approach.
Built through esthetics, operations and creative vision
As ästhetik grew, Alexis was joined by her mother, Jennifer Pfropper, and longtime family friend Megan Dubbaneh. Together, Alexis, Jen and Megan helped develop ästhetik from a treatment-room concept into a combined spa, skincare brand and waterfront retail destination.
Their roles span professional esthetics, client experience, business operations, marketing, photography, education and brand development. Today they work alongside a team of licensed estheticians and massage therapists serving residents and visitors in Punta Gorda.
