Volume lashing is a technique used to achieve a fuller, fluffier look. With this method, anywhere between 2-6 ultra-fine extensions are fanned out and applied to a single natural lash.

This is the perfect solution if you have sparse lashes or gaps. Volume lashes are still safe for your natural lashes! They are much lighter in weight than classic lashes and once placed on your natural lash, the weight of the fan is evenly distributed around your natural lash to ensure they are never too heavy.

Volume lashes are perfect for:

  • Clients who have fine, weak, or sparse lashes
  • Clients who have thick natural lashes, but enjoy the look of striplashes
  • Clients who want more fullness in their lash look*It’s important to note that volume lashes are NOT the cluster lashes you may see at a drugstore or makeup store. Cluster lashes vary drastically from volume lashes as they are pre-glued and can cause long term damage your natural lashes. They’re heavy, attached to multiple lashes and your lash line, and create a dense, unnatural look. These may be great for a one-night out but are not a semi-permanent option!

Commonly Asked Questions

Are Extensions Painful?

Nope! Eyelash extensions should not hurt when applied correctly. They are applied with professional tools by isolating one lash, and adhering the extension to your natural lash. We also apply under eye gel pads filled with anti-inflammatory ingredients to prevent discomfort and multitask as an under eye treatment. It’s important to go to a trusted Lash Artist who has been properly trained through a reputable course as this will ensure that they are applying the correct weight and length of lashes to your natural lash.

Do Extensions Look Fake?

Eyelash extensions can be applied to look anyway that you desire. You can choose to have shorter natural lashes, large dramatic lashes, etc. Typically speaking, eyelash extensions don’t look fake unless that is the look that you are going for.

How Long Do They Last?

Most eyelash extension adhesives have a bond time of anywhere from 4-8 weeks. However, they will only last as long as your natural lash does. Like all hair on the human body, your eyelashes grow in stages, and shed. So its perfectly normal to lose 1-4 natural lashes per day which is why a fill is recommended every 2-4 weeks.

Do Extensions Damage My Natural Lashes?

When applied correctly, eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lash. Professional Artists apply to only one natural lash, and will apply an extension that is the appropriate weight and length to ensure the integrity of your natural lash. Eyelash extensions can be damaging if your lash artist is not using proper techniques. So choose your artist wisely!

Can I Still Wear Mascara?

Yes you can, however you probably won’t need to! If you choose to do so, it is recommended to use an oil free mascara that is extension safe. This will make it so your mascara does not interfere with the bond of the eyelash extension adhesive or cause premature separation.

Yes absolutely! When selecting makeup, it’s best to go with extension safe makeup. Extension safe makeup is oil free, usually contains sealers to prolong extension life and helps to work adjacent with your extensions for an optimal look. However if you use

regular makeup, use a daily cleanser with make-up remover that is safe for your lashes. REMEMBER: clean lashes are happy lashes!
